While it might behoove you to follow our actual Detroit Lion free agency tracker, there is a perverse fascination with the coke dreams brought on by the swirling rumors of the NFL free agency period, the nattering of digital voices telling you which player is drawing interest from which teams.

To wit, we've established a place where we will regularly dump these sort of crazed rumors with much ceremony, august and regal. Here you can stare at what could be only, if only, there were a just God that loved the Detroit Lions as much as you did.

Enjoy.

March 7:

  • J.R. Sweezy - Free agency got started with one hell of a bang when J.R. Sweezy showed up and drew interest from at least nine teams per Randy Getlin, including the Lions!

  • George Iloka - Were the Lions to land Iloka it'd be perhaps the biggest coup of this early free agency period. Naturally, the 25-year old safety fresh from a stint with Cincinnati is drawing great interest from teams. The Lions are certainly in play:

  • Tahir Whitehead - All is quiet on the Lions' end regarding re-signing Whitehead, but the Philadelphia Eagles are reportedly interested in bringing him in:

Whitehead seems to be enjoying the attention:
