2016 Detroit Lions free agency tracker

With a new general manager and a fresh lease on life, the Detroit Lions have to look at the past and determine what they need to bring back to make the best of the 2016 NFL season. Although they showed promise near the end of 2015, the Lions will need to tweak the defensive side of the ball and retool the offensive line.

For now, we're tracking all 25 free agents the Lions currently have on their roster, along with any new Lions signed by the organization. We'll regularly update this post with the destinations and decisions of these players. Be sure to check back here regularly to find the latest news.

DT Haloti Ngata - Haloti's agent tweeted out that he has agreed to a 2-year deal with the Detroit Lions.
LB Tahir Whitehead - Two-year deal worth more than $8 million (details/numbers pending).
QB Dan Orlovsky - Lions announced they have re-signed Orlovsky.
