NFL Draft: Lions choose long snapper Jimmy Landes at 210th overall

With their second compensatory selection of the 2016 NFL Draft and their third selection of the sixth round, the Lions make long snapper Jimmy Landes their pick at 210th overall.

With their final pick in the sixth round the Detroit Lions have selected long snapper Jimmy Landes.

There's not much to write here. He's a longsnapper. He snaps the football and he did it for Baylor for a few years. Although Don Muhlbach was re-signed earlier in the free agency period, the Lions decided it was time to add another to the roster.

If you're looking for a "Patriot Way" connection, the Patriots drafted a longsnapper from the Naval Academy in the fifth round of last year's draft.
