Over/under: 7 wins for the Detroit Lions in 2016

Will the Lions surpass 7 wins in 2016?

Tim Fuller-USA TODAY Sports

We're now a couple of weeks removed from the 2016 NFL Draft, and over/under win totals have been released, courtesy of Sportsbook.ag. It's a simple premise. Las Vegas sportsbooks hand out a number based on the state of each NFL roster post-NFL Draft and you have the option whether you think a team will earn more or less wins than the given number. And guess what? Vegas isn't too confident in the Lions' chances next year.

In fact, the Lions have the lowest win total in the NFC North set at 7 wins, with the Chicago Bears' total set at 7.5 and both the Minnesota Vikings and Green Bay Packers above 9 wins. Here are the odds for the Lions:

Over 7 wins: -125
Under 7 wins: -105

Last year's over/under was set at 8 wins, and the Lions were unable to achieve that mark (despite the POD community voting for an astounding 89 percent on the over), so it's not exactly shocking that the win total would decrease with the media's constant focus on the Lions losing their star receiver in Calvin Johnson.

As a refresher, here is a look at the Lions' 2016 NFL schedule.
