- Bleacher Report made a list containing the best player that could get cut for each NFL team. For the Detroit Lions, they make the case that Brandon Pettigrew's time in Detroit could be over and there could be an injury settlement made.
- Pro Football Focus is backpedaling faster than Darius Slay. Their new list consists of 10 players that are poised to make their first appearance on their Top 101 players list next year. Ezekiel Ansah is listed as No. 1 and Golden Tate also makes an appearance at No. 7 on the list.
