- The Detroit Lions offensive line was bad last year, that much was obvious. But our own Kent Lee Platte found a reason as to why that unit was so poor:
So out of all 32 teams, the Detroit Lions had the least athletic OL via #RAS at an average of only 3.25 out of 10. Only 6 teams below 5.00.

Kent will have more on this later in the week. - Paula Pasche of The Oakland Press has five Lions undrafted rookie free agents to watch.
- Todd McShay has the Lions selecting Alabama linebacker Reuben Foster in his way-too-early 2017 mock draft (behind a paywall). Perhaps more interestingly, McShay has the Lions selecting 19th, based off of Football Outsiders' early projected standings.
- Jeff Risdon of SideLion Report breaks down how Antwione Williams fits with the Lions next year and beyond.
- How many rookies will make an impact on Detroit in 2016? Detroit Jock City ranks each draft pick by their rookie-year impact potential.
- As the story in Happy Valley continues to get worse, Jim Caldwell, who was an assistant coach at Penn State during the 80s, was very brief and very adamant he knew nothing of the scandal:
Caldwell on how much he heard about Jerry Sandusky allegations while coaching at Penn State: "Zero"
— Dave Birkett (@davebirkett) May 6, 2016 - Rookie long snapper Jimmy Landes knows he won't have the starting job handed to him.
