- The Detroit Lions announced on Friday they have waived wide receiver Corey Washington from their injured reserve list. Last week, the Lions waived Washington from the roster with an injury designation and he returned to the team's IR list after clearing waivers. Now that he has been waived from IR, it means the team has reached an injury settlement with the receiver. This lets the Lions off the hook for Washington's entire salary and also opens up the possibility of Washington's return once healthy.
