The Detroit Lions’ third training camp practice — their first in full pads — is underway. But the Lions appear to be without one of their major offensive contributors from 2015.
Theo Riddick has a baseball cap on so appears he won't be practicing for Lions today as it gets started. https://t.co/eVPJjmrBnb

Theo Riddick doesn't have pads on. Looks like he won't be practicing today.

Theo Riddick had practiced fully in the first two days of camp without any limitation. There hasn’t been any reports indicating he suffered an injury on Saturday, so there’s no reason to panic. Riddick could be feeling under the weather or may have something else going on. This news comes on the heels of rumors that Riddick is next in line for a contract extension.
Interestingly, however, it appears Ameer Abdullah is practicing today. Abdullah had been sporting the do-not-touch red jersey the in the previous two training camp session, but was seen receiving punts early in practice. That comes as a bit of a surprise, consider the Lions moved to a padded practice today. However, he was seen sporting the red jersey again on Sunday, meaning he won’t likely be a full participant.
In addition to Riddick, wide receiver Ryan Spadola was missing from practice.
Update: Jim Caldwell confirms Riddick has an injury, but calls it minor:
Theo Riddick did not practice today "He's got a little bit of an injury, but he'll be okay." According to Jim Caldwell.
