HBO’s documentary series Hard Knocks debuted its 11th season on Tuesday. For those who are unaware of the series, Hard Knocks follows one specific team throughout training camp, giving fans an unprecedented behind-the-scenes look at how a team operates during the month of training camp. This year, HBO is following the Los Angeles Rams, which leads me to the question of the day.
Do you ever want the Detroit Lions featured on Hard Knocks?
My answer: Absolutely, 100 percent, yes. I know some coaches are concerned the cameras are both a distraction and an opportunity to tip their opponents on certain strategies, but I don’t care. Hard Knocks gives viewers the chance to see players and coaches in a way they’ve never seen before. I want to see what Jim Caldwell is like in a coaches-only meeting or hear on-field audio of what the players were saying when Eric Ebron went down. If there’s a way I can learn more about the team and how it operates, give it to me.
What about you?
