Lions Friday open thread: How are you preparing for the Lions’ preseason opener?

We will finally have Detroit Lions football today! The Lions and Steelers face off at 7 p.m. ET tonight and if you’re like me, you’re counting down the hours until kickoff. So today’s Question of the Day is:

What are you doing all day to prepare for Detroit Lions football? Are you skipping out of work early? Did you call in sick today? Do you have gameday chili cooking in the crockpot as we speak?

My answer: Well, besides providing you with the best Detroit Lions content throughout the day, I’ll be dusting off my DeAndre Levy jersey, splashing it with the holiest of holy waters, and grabbing the tastiest six pack I find at the local grocery store. After that’s done, I’ll likely just stare at the clock for hours until it reads 7 p.m.
