We're almost halfway through August and we're getting closer and closer to the beginning of real football that actually counts. But what that also means is that the release of Madden NFL 17 is going to be here even sooner. Fans of the video game are as anxious as ever to get their hands on a copy of this year's installment of the franchise, and many of them are hoping it gets here even sooner than its Aug. 23 release date.
Almost two weeks ago, the people over at EA Tiburon, the longtime developers of the video game, released the ratings for the entire league. The Lions are right around the middle of the pack in terms of their overall ratings, but in comparison to the rest of the league, the Lions won't have many top-rated players from the game's onset.
On Sunday, the Lions' website released a video of numerous players being interviewed by Tori Petry, who was asking them who they thought had the fastest and slowest speed rating on the team. Some players were stuck, digging deep into their think-tanks for an honest answer about who they thought were both the fastest and slowest on the team. Some were already politicking for a higher rating, some thought it was "unreal" and were quickly over the ratings shenanigans.
