Regular season football is less than four weeks away, meaning it’s time to dust off your best tailgating recipes. Whether it’s a classic barbecue recipe or your favorite nine-layer dip, football food is just the best. So today’s question is:

What is your favorite tailgate/pregame food?

My answer: Given that games start at 10 a.m. on the west coast, I sadly don’t really do much tailgating or pregaming anymore. However, if I’m attending a game and have the time, I love to make a nice crockpot chili overnight before a game. Eat it by itself, smother a hot dog in it, or even pour it over some eggs. Chili is versatile and delicious.
