This official Detroit Lions teaser video will get you pumped for football

Training camp is underway. The first preseason game is less than two weeks away. Detroit Lions football is almost here, and the team is in full-on hype mode. The Detroit Lions released a trailer on Tuesday that is going to make the hairs on the back of your neck perk up:

The video perfectly overlays motivational quotes from Bob Quinn, Matthew Stafford and Jim Caldwell atop early scenes from training camp. Hearing Quinn and Caldwell talk about winning so emphatically as the Lions take the field in slow-motion gives me chills just typing about it.

The purpose of the video is to promote the Detroit Lions’ Inside the Den: Training Camp with the Detroit Lions online video series. This series debuted last year and is in the same vein as the HBO series Hard Knocks: an annual documentary series that intimately follows one NFL team during training camp. Last year, Inside the Den featured exclusive interviews with coaches and players and never-before-seen highlights from training camp. For an example of what you can look forward to, here’s episode one from last year. They did an excellent job in 2015, so expect more greatness this season.

Inside the Den: Training Camp with the Detroit Lions is scheduled to debut August 9. You can watch the videos on the Detroit Lions’ video section of their site.
