There has been a lot of ugliness through the first half of the Detroit Lions third preseason game against the Baltimore Ravens. But there was one bright stop: This impressive run by Theo Riddick:

Detroit has had some trouble running the ball this preseason, especially Riddick himself. This 34-yard gain was the Lions’ longest run of the preseason and Theo’s longest rush of his NFL career.
However, the rest of the Lions team hasn’t looked great through two quarters. The Lions fell behind 20-3 late in the second quarter, and the first-string offense remains without a touchdown through three preseason games.
Ameer Abdullah played in his first game of the preseason on Saturday night, but didn’t have much of a debut, rushing for just 16 yards on four carries. Riddick was second in line, and had 35 yards on three carries. Rookie Dwayne Washington has taken kick return duties in the first half, but did not play with the offense in the first half.
