Teddy Bridgewater suffered a gruesome injury at practice on Tuesday, dislocating his knee and completely tearing his ACL. The injury left Vikings camp shaken and stopped in its tracks. Thankfully, Minnesota got good news Tuesday night when medical tests revealed Bridgewater had not suffered any nerve or arterial damage. Though the ACL and “other structural damage” will likely end Bridgewater’s season, the Vikings expect him to make a full recovery, meaning we will hopefully get to see him play football again.
When an injury like this happens, it sends shockwaves around the league. Players, coaches and fans all feel the impact of this injury knowing it could have very well happened to themselves, their friends or someone else they care about.
The Lions are no different, and several players sent their best wishes to Bridgewater and the Vikings.

It’s really refreshing to see players come out and support their fellow co-workers, even when they come from a rival team. By all accounts, Bridgewater is an extremely nice human being and an incredibly likable guy. We here at Pride Of Detroit also wish him a quick and full recovery. The NFL is better with you on the field, Teddy.
