Detroit Lions release unofficial 2016 depth chart

Don’t read too much into this, but the Lions have their first unofficial depth chart of 2016.

Okay, before we get into this, it remains incredibly important that you realize the original, unofficial Detroit Lions depth chart means absolutely nothing. For example, last year’s unofficial depth chart had Theo Riddick as the No. 1 running back ahead of Ameer Abdullah. Laken Tomlinson was second-string behind Manny Ramirez. Joseph Fauria was the second-string tight end, and he didn’t even end up making the team.

With that very important preface, here is a look at the Lions’ first, unofficial 2016 depth chart, as released by the team on Monday.

What are your thoughts on this mostly meaningless list? Where did fullback go? Is every rookie really buried that far down on the depth chart? A’Shawn Robinson at fourth-string? Really?
