The Detroit Lions may have been shut out of NFL Network’s training camp coverage, but they’ll get coverage when they hit the field for their first preseason game. According to an NFL press release, NFL Network will be showing the Detroit Lions vs. Pittsburgh Steelers preseason game live on Friday at 7 p.m. ET.
This coverage is for out of market viewers. If you are in the Detroit area, games will be televised on FOX 2.
However, for the rest of the preseason, the Lions will not be televised on NFL Network or any other national broadcast. If you are out of market, one viewing option is subscribing to NFL Game Pass, which streams all non-local preseason games live. Additionally, NFL Network typically replays preseason games throughout the preseason.
