The Detroit Lions have landed in Indianapolis for the their home opener against the Colts. Coming into the game, the Lions appeared pretty healthy, sporting just four players on the questionable list, all of which fully practiced on Friday.
However, on Saturday night, the Lions announced that Tyrunn Walker had been added to the injury list and is now questionable with a calf injury.
Walker was not listed on the injury report all week meaning this is a new injury or something that has flared up unexpectedly. If Walker is unable to go on Sunday, the Lions will have to rely on rookie A’Shawn Robinson, Khyri Thornton or Stefan Charles.
This wouldn’t be the first time the Lions would have to go without Walker. The defensive tackle missed 12 games last season after breaking his leg on a dirty block in Seattle.
Walker now joins Golden Tate, Eric Ebron, Graham Glasgow and Corey Robinson as questionable for Sunday’s game. You can see the rest of the injury report here.
