Lions-Colts inactives: Eric Ebron, Tyrunn Walker will play

The Lions are starting off the NFL season healthy.

The Detroit Lions’ injury report looked great all week. Though Eric Ebron and Golden Tate were two of four Lions listed originally as questionable, both are active and will play against the Indianapolis Colts.

There was fear that defensive tackle Tyrunn Walker would miss Sunday’s game after mysteriously being added to the injury report late on Saturday with a calf injury, but he too is active. Essentially, the Lions are coming in as full strength as you could expect a team in Week 1.

Surprisingly, Zach Zenner is inactive, meaning the Lions have moved rookie Dwayne Washington above him on the depth chart.

The Colts, on the other hand, are still extremely beat up heading into today’s game against the Lions.

Cornerbacks Darius Butler and Vontae Davis were already declared out in Friday’s injury report. Big news for the Colts’ offensive line as Jack Mewhort, who was questionable all week, will start at guard.

Here is a look at each team’s inactives:

Detroit Lions

G Joe Dahl
OT Cornelius Lucas
TE Orson Charles
RB Zach Zenner
DE Anthony Zettel
LB Thurston Armbrister
DT Stefan Charles

Indianapolis Colts

CB Darius Butler
CB Vontae Davis
S Clayton Geathers
DL Henry Anderson
C Austin Blythe
WR Chester Rogers
T Joe Haeg
