After months and months of anticipation, the NFL finally announced and released pictures of the 2016 NFL Color Rush jerseys. Unlike in years past, every single NFL team will wear a Color Rush jersey, which typically features one predominant color for the entire outfit.
After months of rumors that the Detroit Lions would be wearing all blue, all silver and all black, it was finally revelead that the team will be sporting all black jerseys once again.

The team occasionally wore black jerseys back in the mid to late 2000s, during one of the worst stretches in team history.
However, this jersey looks quite a bit different from those jerseys. The blue pops a little more on the black background and the white trip around the blue is a little less pronounced. Of course, then there’s the black pants that seem to work a little better than the gray they used a decade ago.
The Lions will not be wearing these uniforms in 2016.
Color Rush jerseys are already available for purchase, if you're interested here. You can also take a look at every other team's jersey here.
What are your thoughts? Ugly? Awesome?
UPDATE: This post originally said the Lions would be wearing these jerseys on Thanksgiving, but the Lions announced they would not be wearing the jerseys in 2016. We apologize for the error.
