At the risk of injecting a fresh new hell’s worth of panic into the Lions fanbase, it must be reported that DeAndre Levy made it onto the Lions injury report this week with a quad injury. The star linebacker did not practice at all on Wednesday, in spite of a very healthy showing Sunday.
DeAndre Levy had previously had issues with his hip before and during the 2015 season, so the quad injury is probably unrelated to that particular issue. Nevertheless, it is perhaps a little too early to panic; Levy saw the field for every snap on Sunday against the Colts.
Also making the report were Ezekiel Ansah, Adairius Barnes and Cole Wick. All three were limited in practice on Wednesday. As MLive’s Kyle Meinke points out, Ziggy has dealt with shoulder issues earlier in his career. The full reports follow below.
The Titans only had two players on their Wednesday injury report: receiver Kendall Wright and linebacker Derrick Morgan. Wright missed the opener and according to coach Mike Mularkey, he doesn’t seem likely to play this week, despite being limited in practice.
