The Detroit Lions will open up Sunday for the first regular season game of the year. The team will debut their cheerleaders, a new sound and light system and several new food and drink options. Additionally, the Lions announced late Thursday night that they will have a bunch of new pre-game festivities in an effort to get fans into the stadium well before kickoff. Here’s a taste:

Kudos to new president Rod Wood and company for trying to make the gameday experience better and more unique than it has been in years past.
Today’s Question of the Day is:
Are you going to the team’s home opener on Sunday?
My answer: Nope. As most of you probably know, I’m currently based in Los Angeles, California. Though, I may make the trek back to Detroit for a game this year, it won’t be the season opener, even if I want to try the Big Blue Donut right now.
Your turn.
