NFL Week 2 staff picks: Almost all of us are picking the Lions over Titans

We’re not quite unanimous, but the Pride Of Detroit staff feels good about the Lions chances in Week 2.

Detroit Lions vTennessee Titans

Last week, the Pride Of Detroit staff tempted fate, and was nearly burned. All 11 staffers picked the Detroit Lions to win over the Indianapolis Colts, and all were technically right.

With the Lions coming home to face a team they’re favored to beat by nearly a touchdown, you’d expect another unanimous pick, right? That is not the case this week, as we have just one writer who thinks the Lions will drop their first game of the season against the Tennessee Titans. Here’s a look at all of our picks:

[Editor’s note: Mike Payton is choosing not to pick scores, simply the winners this season]

Justin Simon (1-0): 24-21 Lions
Alex Reno (1-0): 30-27 Titans
Joseph Buszek (1-0): 28-17 Lions
Kyle Yost (1-0): 31-17 Lions
Ryan Mathews (1-0): 35-21 Lions
Andrew Kato (1-0): 31-17 Lions
Kent Lee Platte (1-0): 30-13 Lions
Chris Lemieux (1-0): 69-4 Lions
Brian Packer (1-0): 31-21 Lions
Mike Payton (1-0): Lions win
Jeremy Reisman (1-0): 23-20 Lions
