Lions-Titans snap counts: Tyrunn Walker not getting full starting reps

Observations

  • With Ameer Abdullah out for the entire second half, Theo Riddick took over carrying duties. However, Dwayne Washington also got a few reps in the backfield and did some nice things in limited snaps.

  • Even though he was active for the first time this week, Orson Charles did not get any snaps with the offense. Instead, the team went with recently acquired Khari Lee.

Observations

  • Once again, Tyrunn Walker saw a very small portion of snaps today. Khyri Thornton actually saw the field more than Walker, which is quite puzzling. You'd think maybe Walker is still ailing from his mysterious injury from last week, but he wasn't listed on the injury report all week.

  • Due to Ezekiel Ansah's injury, it was Kerry Hyder, not Wallace Gilberry, who saw a huge uptick in playing time.

  • Again, Tavon Wilson is very much the starting strong safety for the Lions.

  • Despite the Lions' urgent situation at linebacker, Detroit did not decide to put Miles Killebrew in as a third safety/linebacker hybrid.
