Wednesday’s injury report featured a whopping eight Lions who were not active in practice. Thankfully, Thursday’s report is a little less dreadful, with Tyrunn Walker, Eric Ebron, Riley Reiff and Kyle Van Noy all back to practice, albeit in limited capacity. However, the Lions were still missing two critical defensive players in Ezekiel Ansah and DeAndre Levy.
Ansah, according to Adam Caplan, is suffering from a high-ankle sprain (as previously reported) and is seeking a second opinion on his injury.
New to the injury report is defensive end Devin Taylor, who did not practice on Thursday with an ankle injury. No word has been made whether the injury is serious or if he is getting some additional rest. With Ansah already out, Taylor’s injury could leave the Lions seriously shorthanded at defensive end.
Wallace Gilberry and Adairius Barnes were also limited in practice Thursday.
For the Packers, the same five players who missed practice Wednesday also missed Thursday practice. Guard TJ Lang also joined the ranks of the injured and did not practice. The full reports follow below.
