NFL Week 3 expert picks: Lions too banged up to upset Packers

All but one of our staff members have the Packers reclaiming Lambeau this year.

All hail Alex Reno. Last week, Reno was the only one among us who picked the Tennessee Titans to upset the Detroit Lions last week. In fact, including all of the predictions in the comment section, Reno was just one of three to see the Lions’ loss coming.

While we’ve thought about flogging Reno for his traitorous ways last week, he’s gone and redeemed himself this week. Reno is, once again, riding solo. He is the only staff member to choose the Lions to pick up their second consecutive Lambeau win on Sunday. Let’s hope his boldness pays off again.

Here’s a look at all of our predictions.

[Editor’s note: Mike Payton is choosing not to pick scores, simply the winners this season]

Alex Reno (2-0): 31-23 Lions
Justin Simon (1-1): 24-17 Packers
Joseph Buszek (1-1): 28-26 Packers
Kyle Yost (1-1): 27-21 Packers
Ryan Mathews (1-1): 28-24 Packers
Andrew Kato (1-1): 27-20 Packers
Chris Lemieux (1-1): 8-5 Packers
Brian Packey (1-1): 27-20 Packers
Mike Payton (1-1): Packers win
Jeremy Reisman (1-1): 34-20 Packers

Now it’s your turn to predict. Below is our prediction widget which allows you to submit your best guess at the score and then calculates how accurate the Pride Of Detroit community is compared to other SB Nation sites.

Please remember to share your score predictions in the comment section of this article or in the comments for On Paper for a chance at a shoutout in our weekly preview post.
