The Lions will be without their top edge rusher when they take on the Packers at Lambeau on Sunday, and they may very well be without two of their linebackers as well (if not more). Ezekiel Ansah has been ruled out for Sunday’s competition, while DeAndre Levy, who missed two weeks of practice and last Sunday’s game, is marked doubtful along with rookie Antwione Williams.
During the week a number of Lions missed practice at least once, but many who were injured against the Titans managed to get at least some form of practice in. However, because “probable” does not exist anymore as a reported game status, it is hard to tell which of the eight Lions listed as “questionable” would have been listed as such in 2015 and which would more likely be ready to go for Sunday. Kyle Van Noy left the game against the Titans, while Devin Taylor only appeared on the injury report on Thursday.
The Packers will be without corner Sam Shields, who has yet to clear concussion protocols. Five more players are listed as questionable, including guard T.J. Lang and linebacker Clay Matthews. Matthews did not participate in practice all week. The full reports follow below.
