Lions injury report: Ebron, Williams back, Marvin Jones limited with hamstring injury

The Lions’ opponent, the Chicago Bears, did not practice starting quarterback Jay Cutler.

Eric Ebron, Wallace Gilberry and Antwione Williams returned to practice in limited capacity on Thursday, helping to heal some fears of Lions injuries. However, Ezekiel Ansah and DeAndre Levy remained out from practice again, and Marvin Jones found his way onto the injury report. He has a hamstring issue and was limited in Thursday practice.

It’s probable that the Lions will get Gilberry, Williams and Ebron back in time for the Sunday game against the Chicago Bears, although the progress of Levy and Ansah is still to be determined. The Jones injury does not appear to be threatening his status for Sunday at this time.

For the Bears, quarterback Jay Cutler missed practice on Thursday, having been limited on Wednesday. It is unlikely he will play on Sunday, and the Lions might be facing off against Brian Hoyer. Chicago did see safety Harold Jones-Quartey return from concussion protocols and managed to participate in practice, although they are still missing several key members of their team, including Jeremy Langford and Danny Trevathan. The full reports follow below.
