Saturday open thread: Give us your best fantasy football team name

If you’re doing fantasy football right, your draft should be coming up this weekend or shortly thereafter. That means right now you should be cramming to make sure you’re fully prepared for your fantasy league. No, I’m not talking about doing research — but if you are looking for a good source of information, Ryan Mathews has positional rankings for quarterbacks, running backs, tight ends and kickers — I’m talking about the preparation needed to have the best fantasy football team name.

Too often, fantasy players overlook this crucial aspect of the league. “Bryan’s dominant team.” “Lions4SuperBowl.” These just take little effort and say so very little. While I would typically prefer you to come up with a clever title on your own, I’m willing to help you out now, since this is such an important issue. While I don’t play fantasy football myself, I think it’s important to make sure that those who do play it are playing it right. So let’s brainstorm together.

What is your best Detroit Lions-themed fantasy football team name?

My answer: Like I said, I do not play fantasy football any longer. That being said, I’ve tried to continue the clever team name tradition for Pick’Em leagues. I don’t currently have a good name for this year’s Pick’Em squad, but here are some of my past names:
