Saturday open thread: If the Lions beat the Seahawks, I will...

Hardly anyone is predicting a Lions win, so how would you celebrate if the unthinkable happens.

The Detroit Lions have won one playoff game in the Super Bowl Era. They’re 1-11 in postseason games since 1957 and 0-10 on the road.

The odds are stacked against the Lions to put any streaks or droughts to bed on Saturday night. The Seattle Seahawks are favored by eight points, have won nine straight home playoffs games and, if we’re being completely honest, have a much better roster than the Lions.

But this is single-elimination football. Weird things happen, and the best team doesn’t always win. The Lions may have lost to three straight playoff teams, but they hung with all of them for the majority of the game. With Matthew Stafford fully capable of making a game out of any situation, a Lions win isn’t out of the question.

So with kickoff still hours away, let’s play with the hypothetical. Today’s Question of the Day is:

If the Lions beat the Seahawks, I will...

My answer: No. 1 on the list is listen to “Africa” by Toto on repeat for at least 3 hours. That will be bumping in the car as I drive to the nearest liquor store to pick up all of the supplies necessary to make copious amounts of Honolulu Blue Kool-Aid. Then, with my crew, I will spend the entire night fantasizing of all the glorious, but ultimately unlikely, ways Detroit can get their revenge on the Dallas Cowboys next week for the travesty that was the 2014 playoffs. Oh man, that would be beautiful.

Your turn.
