Injuries have piled up for the Detroit Lions, who will be without running back Dwayne Washington and offensive guard Zac Kerin, both listed as “Out” on this week’s injury report. They also listed six players as “Questionable” on the injury report, including four starters (three on defense).
The Lions were without their starting middle linebacker, and perhaps their most important player on defense against the run in Jarrad Davis, and it showed against the Falcons last week, who were able to run all over Detroit’s defense. Unfortunately for the Lions, it appears that Davis still has not been cleared to play after suffering a concussion against the Giants two weeks ago.
Travis Swanson’s health has also been in question up until now. He missed last week’s game against the Falcons with an ankle injury, but is listed as ACTIVE for Sunday. This means the Lions will have all of their starters back on the offensive line.
Kenny Golladay, who was also listed as “Questionable,” is listed as INACTIVE for the first time this year.
Also of note, cornerback Teez Tabor is active for his first regular season NFL game.
