Detroit was already thin at linebacker with Jarrad Davis out for today’s matchup against the Minnesota Vikings, but things got worse for the team on Detroit’s first defensive snap.
Paul Worrilow, one of the team’s starting linebackers with Davis out, is questionable to return with a knee injury. The veteran linebacker is a big time contributor on special teams, but with Detroit so thin at linebacker, the team was expecting him to contribute with the first-team defense, especially on first and second down.
Worrilow is questionable to return, after being carted to the locker room.

Detroit’s defense was already going to have their hands full with Dalvin Cook, but this injury presents a whole new host of problems for the Lions on Sunday as things were already looking bleak in terms of their depth at the linebacker position.
The Lions will have to rely on Tahir Whitehead, Nick Bellore, rookie Jalen Reeves-Maybin, and Steve Longa to hold down the second line of their defense. Detroit added Thurston Armbrister from practice squad on Saturday, but he is inactive for the game today.
