There weren’t a lot of fireworks for the Lions at U.S. Bank Stadium on Sunday, but they walked out with the victory and a few calls from Dan Miller on the Lions Radio Network.
Getting things started, Matthew Stafford found Marvin Jones Jr. for 38 yards early in the game. (Link)
In the third quarter, the Lions managed to get their first touchdown of the game, and shocking enough it was a run from Ameer Abdullah. It wasn’t ruled as a touchdown at first, but upon review, the referees got it right. (Link)
Earlier in the game, Ameer Abdullah had himself a 29-yard run, called by Dan. (Link)
Dalvin Cook was ripping up the Lions until he left the game in the third quarter when he lost the football, and Tahir Whitehead jumped on it. (Link)
Case Keenum had the ball with two minutes to go in the game and was down by a lone score, but Tahir Whitehead would come in with another huge fumble recovery as Glover Quin forced the turnover, and Detroit would snatch up a victory. (Link)
