T.J. Lang and Ezekiel Ansah returned to practice on Thursday after what is becoming a somewhat regular Wednesday off. As a team, the only Detroit Lions player that missed practice due to an injury was Paul Worrilow, who continues to heal after suffering a knee injury during Week 4’s game against the Vikings. Initial reports said Worrilow would miss 2-4 weeks.
Greg Robinson was also absent from Thursday’s practice, but the official report states it is not injury related.
Kenny Golladay participated in practice for the second straight day, but according to reports from writers on hand, he was very limited during the individual portion of practice.
Kenny Golladay had a helmet but didn't do anything during open portion of practice. Stafford looked fine. No Worrilow. Lang/Ansah back.— Dave Birkett (@davebirkett) October 12, 2017
Matthew Stafford was, again, not limited in practice despite his ankle injury. Additionally, Tahir Whitehead and Glover Quin were both upgraded from limited practice to full practice on Thursday.
The New Orleans Saints, for the second day in a row, had full participation in practice on Thursday. That includes starting left tackle Terron Armstead and wide receiver Willie Snead, both of whom have yet to play this year. The Saints did have one new name on their injury report: starting left guard Andrus Peat, who was limited on Thursday with a hip injury.
