It was another rough week in the NFL. The Detroit Lions looked really bad for the second straight game. Starting quarterbacks all over the league were battered up and lost to injury.
The Kansas City Chiefs, the only remaining undefeated in the NFL, lost to a Pittsburgh Steelers team that was routed by the Jaguars and upset by the Bears. The Atlanta Falcons blew a 17-point home lead against the Miami Dolphins. The Chargers and Raiders are both 2-4. Adrian Peterson is apparently not a corpse.
There are a lot of weird things happening in the NFL, and so many people are left scratching their heads after another week of shocking upsets.
So while the “Sunday Night Football” game between the Broncos and Giants may seem like a foregone conclusion, who the hell knows right now? Maybe the Giants, 0-5 and depleted of just about every skill player they have, can pull some magic against the Broncos on their home field.
