Monday Night Football open thread: Colts at Titans

Saddle up for some AFC football!

During Sunday night’s open thread, I mentioned just how wacky Week 6 in the NFL has been. I postulated that maybe even the Broncos could somehow drop a home game against the lowly, winless Giants.

Well, here we are 24 hours later and the Giants have done just that. This week in the NFL had six games with 7+ point underdogs. Those underdogs went 3-3. Not against the spread, mind you. Straight up. We had three 7+ point underdogs pull off the upset.

My point is: the NFL can make just about any bleak matchup look interesting. So maybe the magic of Week 6 can rub off on what seems like an extremely uninteresting game on paper. The Tennessee Titans (2-3) are on a two game skid, having been blown out by the Texans and outdueled by the Dolphins. The Colts (2-3) look lost without General Andrew Luck behind center.

The game has literally no bearing on the Lions this year, so sadly there’s no angle there. But weird things happen in Week 6, so maybe ESPN can pull something interesting out of this game.

Here’s how to watch:
