- As mentioned earlier in the week, Golden Tate is currently Pro Football Focus’ No. 5 wide receiver in the league. In the writeup of their top 10 list, PFF dropped these two interesting facts:
Tate has forced 13 missed tackles this season. No other receiver in the entire NFL has forced more than eight.
No receiver is as elusive as Tate is, and his 29 receptions from the slot also leads the NFL.
- Kent Lee Platte is out here trying to ruin our memory of the Detroit Lions:

- I’m only telling you this so that you have a couple months to mentally prepare. Aaron Rodgers could potentially return for the regular season finale against the Detroit Lions.
- It’s the bye week, so here’s Tahir Whitehead’s son showing off his own athletic skills:

- The Athletic has an entertaining story about Lions players’ obsession with video games. Chris Burke tries to answer the question: Is Matt Prater secretly the best gamer in the locker room?
- This is something interesting to think about from PFF. Apparently Darren Fells hasn’t been run blocking as well as you probably think:
Lions drafted a run blocking TE and signed 1, both are being out performed by Ebron.
