Detroit Lions receiver Kenny Golladay missed practice on Thursday after participating in a limited fashion the day prior. Golladay has missed the last three games with a lingering hamstring issues and it appears that the bye week wasn’t enough to clear him of the injury completely.
The good news for Detroit is that Golden Tate practiced for the second day in a row, opening up the possibility that he may play against the Steelers on Sunday. However, he continues to be limited with his shoulder injury and, based on the signing of Jace Billingsley from the practice squad, it still seems like Tate may be a week away from returning.
According to ESPN, Glover Quin has cleared concussion protocol and should now be expected to play this week. He was still listed on Thursday’s injury report, but given that he spoke with the media, he should be good to go.
On the Steelers’ side, defensive end Stephon Tuitt told the media that he will be out this week. Tuitt has missed three games this season already with various injuries and only has seven tackles on the year.
