The Detroit Lions have the afternoon off to get ready for this evening’s game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Considering all of the time between now and “Sunday Night Football,” you could choose to spend the day doing those errands you’ve been putting off all week. Or you could spend it all day mindlessly watching football, like me.
The Vikings have already won their early morning matchup in London, while the Packers are on their bye week. That means there’s only one other NFC North team in action during the rest of the day, when the Bears face off against the Saints at 1 p.m. ET.
But there are some other interesting—and Lions relevant—games this week. Panthers-Buccaneers could have some big implications in the NFC playoff race and the later games include a big NFC East showdown.
Come chat with us all day during Football Sunday.
