Normally, the NFL trade deadline is a pretty big snoozer. We spend weeks upon weeks orchestrating our own little fantasy trades only to find out that most teams are unwilling to budge this late in the season.
However, this year the trades have already started to come in a day early, and it appears NFL general managers are finally starting to loosen up and take some chances on their roster. With the middle of the NFL standings so crowded (17 teams have three or four wins), perhaps teams are more desperate to make a big move in order to make that final push down the last half of the season. Or maybe Monday’s trades were an anomoly and we’re in for a quiet Tuesday.
Whatever the reason for the early trades, we’ll be here to keep track of all of the incoming transactions from Tuesday, whether they’re Detroit Lions related or not.
So if you’re hungry for some NFL trade news, keep your eyes glued here, and feel free to discuss any rumors you hear in the comment section below.
The deadline for all trades is 4 p.m. ET on Tuesday. Don’t miss a single transaction!
