The Detroit Lions are basking in the glory of their third straight win, and as a result, they’re just on the outside looking in of the NFC playoff picture.

While the Lions won’t be able to jump their way into a playoff spot by the end of Week 11, they’ve moved atop the “in the hunt” standings. After Green Bay, Washington and Arizona lost on Sunday, the Lions have created some space below them.
And they could have even more space after “Sunday Night Football” because the Dallas Cowboys face one of the best teams in the NFL right now. Even worse for America’s Team, they’re without Ezekiel Elliott for another month, while key injuries to Sean Lee and Tyron Smith have them depleted for Sunday’s game.
