The Detroit Lions will be without their star punt returner on Thanksgiving Day. On Wednesday, the team ruled Jamal Agnew out after suffering a knee injury last week against the Chicago Bears.
On Wednesday, Jim Caldwell let reporters know who they can expect to see in the return game against the Minnesota Vikings this week. “You’re probably going to see either T.J. (Jones), Golden (Tate), you know, those two guys back there. You could see Ameer (Abdullah) in terms of the kickoff return.”
Elsewhere, Ezekiel Ansah is listed as questionable. Again, he was limited in practice on Wednesday due to a back injury that has held him out of the past two games. This week marks the first time Ansah has practiced since the back injury appeared on the injury report, so there is some hope he’ll play.
One player the Lions will likely have back is rookie linebacker Jalen Reeves-Maybin, who fully practiced again on Wednesday but is also listed as questionable. Reeves-Maybin has missed the past two games an ankle injury. Although Reeves-Maybin only plays a limited role on defense, it’s clear the Lions could use his help, especially defending the run.
For the Minnesota Vikings, the every single player on the roster was a full participant for Wednesday’s practice.

That includes right tackle Mike Remmers, who, it appears, has finally cleared concussion protocol after missing the past two weeks. Remmers, along with defensive lineman Brian Robison and safety Andrew Sendejo, are listed as questionable for Thursday’s game, but you have to think they will all give it a go.
Here’s the full injury list for both teams.
