- A couple weeks ago, the Notre Dame Fighting Irish and the Miami Hurricanes faced off in a huge college football primetime game. Golden Tate, a Notre Dame alum, made a bet with The Rock, who played with the Hurricanes back in the day. Miami ended up winning that night, and on Wednesday, Tate finally paid up, wearing a Dwayne Johnson (The Rock) jersey in the locker room:

The Rock responded in kind:
Man of his word. @ShowtimeTate lost a bet to me when my @univmiami Canes beat his @NDFootball team. Had to wear my #94 jersey from The U.

- Remember the fallout from the controversial coin toss between the Lions and Steelers on Thanksgiving back in 1998? It turns out that moment kind of ruined the official’s career, even though he may not have even made a mistake:

- Kyle Meinke of MLive details Jarrad Davis’ recent struggles, specifically in the run game. Meinke notes Davis ranks dead last in tackling efficiency and 57th out of 58 in Pro Football Focus’ run defense grades.
- Surprisingly, the Lions defense has been very good on third downs late in the game:
