Monday Night Football open thread: Texans at Ravens

Come scout the Lions’ next opponent with us!

Week 12 is coming to a merciful end after a disastrous set of games for the Detroit Lions. But worry not. Week 13 could potentially undo all of the harm caused by our weekly rooting guide that went a pathetic 1-6 this week. The Falcons will play the Vikings, the Panthers play the Saints and Seahawks face off against the Eagles. So there could be ground to be made up this upcoming week.

But before we dive into Week 13, let’s close up shop with a little AFC matchup. Normally a game between the Texans and Ravens would have little allure to the Lions, but Detroit is making a trip out to Baltimore in six days. The Lions will obviously have the benefit of a long week to the Ravens’ short week, and tonight will give them an extra opportunity to scout them.

So scout along with us as we watch the Ravens and the Texans face off on “Monday Night Football.”

Here’s how to watch:

Time: 8:30 p.m. ET
Location: M&T Bank Stadium—Baltimore, MD
TV: ESPN
Announcers: Sean McDonough, Jon Gruden
Online Streaming: WatchESPN
Odds: Ravens by 7.5
