For Detroit, there wasn’t much change in participation. Don Carey returned to practice after sitting out Thursday with a knee injury; he was still limited on Friday.
Additionally, Dwayne Washington moved from limited to full participation in practice, suggesting he’s moving along in the concussion protocol. There’s a good chance he’ll be available to play on Monday, should the Lions choose to have him active over Zach Zenner again this week.
On the Packers’ side, tight end Martellus Bennett missed a second-straight day of practice with a new shoulder injury. While he has not been ruled out of Monday’s game yet, head coach Mike McCarthy said the team is “still gathering information on his shoulder.”
Additionally, the Packers placed two players on injured reserve on Friday: safety Kentrell Brice and long-snapper Taybor Pepper. Brice had started at safety while Morgan Burnett was injured, while the Packers signed free agent Derek Hart to be their new long snapper.
