Sunday Night Football open thread: Raiders at Dolphins

New, comment

Just one more game until the Lions are up. Come watch SNF with us.

A quiet day in the NFL comes to a close, as always, with “Sunday Night Football.” The Detroit Lions and Green Bay Packers are patiently waiting for their turn to shine in the spotlight on Monday night, but tonight it’s time for the AFC to shine.

The competitors? Two teams absolutely desperate for a win. The Miami Dolphins (4-3) currently sit third in AFC East, hoping the Patriots and Bills choke down the stretch. They’re reportedly getting Jay Cutler back this week after a rib injury held him out last week. In that game, the Dolphins were shut out 40-0.

But the Oakland Raiders may be even more desperate for a win. At 3-5, they’re in the basement of the AFC West, tied with both the Broncos and Chargers. Everyone is chasing the Chiefs, who have looked mortal as of late, but still hold a commanding lead in the division.

So chat during the game tonight, or if you want, talk about anything. Talk about “The Simpsons” or that “Ghosted” show with Adam Scott and Craig Robinson. Is that show any good? Apparently “The Walking Dead” is still a thing. Or maybe your life has fulfillment without TV shows. If that’s the case, please tell me how you do it in the comments.
