Lions-Packers inactives: Decker, Golladay OUT for ‘Monday Night Football’ matchup

No Decker, no Golladay means no fun for the offense (maybe, probably).

Taylor Decker (shoulder) finally returned to the practice field last Wednesday, and there may have been a shred of hope that the Detroit Lions would have him ready for tonight’s “Monday Night Football” matchup—and boy do they need him right now—but unfortunately for the offense, they will have to wait at least another week before the Lions have their starting left tackle return to the fold.

With Greg Robinson (ankle) still out, the Lions will once again turn to the likes of Brian Mihalik at left tackle.

Kenny Golladay’s hamstring issue has been a bit of a mystery as well, suffering another setback this week, as he missed two practices this week and was listed as “Doubtful” on the injury report. He will also miss Monday’s game.

Safety Don Carey and defensive end Ezekiel Ansah were both “Questionable” to play on MNF. Ansah is listed as ACTIVE, but Carey will be INACTIVE against the Green Bay Packers.

For the Packers, it came as a bit of a surprise when one of their starting cornerbacks, Kevin King, suffered a back injury and had to be added to the injury report. It appears that he will be ACTIVE for tonight. King has struggled as a rookie, posting a 39.1 overall grade via Pro Football Focus, so the Lions may be wise to throw the ball his way and do it often.

Other recognizable names listed as INACTIVE for the Packers are TE Martellus Bennett and LB Ahmad Brooks.
