The Detroit Lions caught a few breaks early in the game on Monday night. After a bad snap helped A’Shawn Robinson block a short Packers field goal attempt, the Lions took over.
It looked like they were about to start the game with a three-and-out, but the Packers aided Detroit with a numbskulled personal foul penalty, extending the drive for the Lions.
Detroit took quick advantage, methodically driving down the field. Matthew Stafford went 3-for-4 on the drive for 37 yards, ending with this beautiful fade that dropped right into the arms of a waiting Marvin Jones Jr.

The pass was Stafford’s 200th career touchdown pass, quite an accomplishment for any Lions quarterback. But the real headline here is again the celebration.
Jones and Eric Ebron faced off in a game of end zone Rock’em Sock’em Robots. Check it out:

Check out Ameer Abdullah try to mess with Golden Tate’s controller. Maybe this was actually more of a Fight Night Round 2 impression. Either way, our condolences to Ebron for losing the fight. But it’s better to see you on the ground than the ball, I suppose.
