Week 10 is here and it actually kicks off with a compelling matchup... well, kind of.
The Arizona Cardinals have somehow clawed their way to 4-4, despite losing David Johnson to an injury in the season opener against the Detroit Lions and then losing Carson Palmer a couple weeks back.
Drew Stanton led the team to a win over the hapless 49ers last week, but he won’t have it so easy this week. The Seattle Seahawks are in town, and they’re likely in a bad mood after last week’s last-minute loss to Washington.
The Seahawks are actually currently on the outside looking in for the NFC playoff picture, despite sporting a 5-3 record. They’re a game behind the Rams for the lead in the NFC West and just behind the Cowboys (via tiebreaker) for the final wild card spot. A win tonight would not only push them further ahead of the Cardinals, but it would give them a key conference win that may be helpful in terms of tiebreakers come December.
As for Lions fans, the choice is easy: Root for the Cardinals. See which teams you should be rooting for this week and why with our Week 10 rooting guide.
