Week 13 is here and with it brings another exciting matchup for the Detroit Lions. This week, they’ll face the only remaining team with a winning record on their schedule. The Baltimore Ravens (6-5) are a team just as flawed as the Lions.
Instead of a struggling running game, the Ravens can’t seem to figure out how to pass the ball this year. Joe Flacco is having one of the worst seasons of his career, while no Baltimore receiver has managed to clear the 400 receiving yards mark yet this season.
The Lions can still keep their playoff hopes alive without a win this week, but if they can come back from Baltimore with a victory it would potentially close the gap between them and a playoff spot. It won’t come easy—nothing seems to for the Lions—but this week is certainly winnable for Detroit.
And, hey, even if they don’t win, at least we get to listen to Chris Spielman again.
